dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study was to correlate reasonably the demographic factors (such as health status, socioeconomic status, gender), Related Learning Experience (RLE) policies and the fourth year nursing students' RLE attendance of Ateneo de Davoa University. In this descriptive correlational research, it was designed to establish relationships between or among variables in nonexperimental, natural setting. It identified how variable were related to one another in naturally occuring situations. It examined relationships including similarities of differences among several variables. There were 161 4th year nursing students included in the study. The researchers used student survey forms in order to attain the needed data on the goal and perception of students on RLE policies, health status, gender and family income. In the same manner, the Nursing Division performance slip of the junior students varies on the attendance that was recorded. Based on the tabulated frequency of absences, most of the students had 0-3 number of absences. It consisted of 95.65% of the total sample population. On the other hand, the tabulated frequency of tardiness showed that most of the students obtained 0-3 number of tardiness with 90.68% of the total sample population. Moreover, the result showed that there was no significant relationship between RLE attendance and the the level of perception of nursing students on RLE policies in terms of goal and implementation. Health status in a clear sense had the greatest effect on the RLE attendance. On the other hand, family income had less effect on RLE attendance. Finally, the gender of nursing students indeed had less effect on the RLE attendance.
